A State of Mourn for leholyghost's new album.

August 20, 2018

“Every new start begins with an end. And that transition of beginning again, is the ‘trip’.” was his words about the release.

A Demonstration of : Spaces for the dead is an album compiled by leholyghost over the years of composing music. An idea that started out with the intention of releasing old ideas and songs that are put to “void” has evolved together with the artist in a period of 2 years. In this album, he explains the idea of being ‘dead’ and how it transformed him.

As part of the conceptual album, he didn’t have any word about it until the discovery last night. “I think when someone is about to die, no one would have any clue about it until he or she passed, and then all that reaction. Some even don’t know until like a year later.” explained the artist about the anonymity of having a release date.

The cover art of the album is a digital painting which depicts a representation of the act of being a servant to an unknown force or master. The artist claimed that the art piece is an inspiration of the reality he sees today with the notion of how it imprisons us from living under complete control. When asked about the relation to the whole album, his answer was simply, “Mourn to find out.”
